Merit Gear manufactures precision spur and helical gearing as well as complete custom gearboxes. Precision external gearing from 20 mm to 1600 mm. Internal gears to 900 mm.

Merit has the ability to produce gearing up to AGMA Q-15 precision levels.

Gearboxes can be anywhere from 150 cubic mm to 2000 cubic mm and weigh up to 9 metric tons. Merit manufactures custom planetary and parallel shaft designs. Merit makes gearboxes that are used in rigorous applications in mining, water well drilling, oil field, fire trucks and azimuth drives for huge telescopes.
